...and we're getting married in April next year!

I haven't been on dA in a looong time. Lots of personal stuff going on, including moving to a new place with my wife to be.

I did, however, manage to make some pretty cool shots in the mean time, I just didn't find the time to post them here. So this is a big upload, about 20 shots.

When viewing the newly weds photos please bear in mind that they weren't posing for my camera but for the photographer they hired. I was there just as an assistant and to see how I would perform. Sort of like a job audition. That's why the couple looks a bit oblivious (as if I'm not there) on some shots. The photographer that I was working for was very satisfied with my work, he said that I should get back to him for another shoot, but a few months passed since then and I'm not so sure anymore if wedding photography is something I would want to do. It gets pretty tedious and boring after a while. Sure, the money is great but the weekends spent on shooting weddings could definitely be put to better use.

Also, about image quality. All the images I've uploaded have been processed on a relatively well calibrated CRT monitor and are ready for printout. That's why they will probably seem a bit too "bright" on most LCD monitors.

The portraits of my friends as well as the girl with white make-up on were originally just training exercises for me and my strobe but I was very satisfied with the results. There are some "burned" parts some where in there but considering the ghetto lighting setup I was using, I'd say the shots are darn near perfect!
