I showed this photo to a couple of my friends and, to my surprise, most of them didn't notice the heart in the middle, made up of dots inside the red dice. They just saw the red dice. Which is cool because it turns out that this image is like one of those where you have to look at it a little out of focus to see what's going on.

I'm thinking of starting a series where the heart would be the repeating motive. It's a little cliche, I know, but I think I did a good job with this one. You can see the other on here [link] .

The dice are really stacked up like that, it took some time because they're really bad made and kept falling apart. Couldn't find any red dice with black dots so I colored them in Photoshop. I tried to get the red tone right, to fit with the crimson background.
